APPLICATION PROCESS

The ClinMed2019 Summer School will be accepting between 30 and 40 participants. A selection committee will evaluate each participant's experience, academic performance and motivation. This evaluation will be based on the CV and motivation letter. Acceptance into the program is not guaranteed. Admission may close earlier if all available seats fill up. Updates will be posted to this website.

There are no specific prerequisites for this program other than having at least a BSc degree and basic English skills (enough to communicate with fellow participants and to follow the courses).

The first step is to register under the "Registration" tab. Next, send us your CV and motivation letter under the "Submit" tab. Please complete your inscription and name your CV file <Sirname_Name_CV> ;  and your Motivation Letter <Sirname_Name_ML>.Tell us why you would like to take part in this Summer School, why you are choosing which immersive experience, what challenges you would like to overcome and how this Summer School can support your future academic and professional goals. Please indicate which immersive experience you would prefer: you have 2 choices. Some people may only be placed in their second choice if their background is too similar to other participants who were selected before to attend the first choice of immersive experience. ClinMed aims to form interdisciplinary teams, where attendees' profiles complete each other.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Keep in mind that the earlier you apply, the earlier you will recieve your admission notification. Once you recieve your admition notification, you will have 5 to 10 days to proceed to the first payment of 200€ to cover part of your costs for accomodation. We will reach out to you to determine how much our grants can cover the rest of your expenses (see "about fees" for more info).

The aim of the Selection Committee is to put together a group of attendees from diverse educational and professional backgrounds. Each selected participant must be highly motivated and interested in finding creative solutions to unmet needs. The multidisciplinary panel will use current guidelines to minimise gender and nationality biases.

We are looking for participants whose goals align with those of the Clinmed2019 Summer School. Participant applications will be evaluated according to motivation, educational performance and professional experience. The Committee will evaluate applications so as to assemble multidisciplinary teams that fit with the course objectives and will have fair potential for how team of attendees will translate the contents of the course into practical project building.
